The Shibuya Ultima CP Pro G2 400-9-A compound sight represents the next generation of high-precision compound bow sights engineered for competitive archery and demanding 3D archery environments. Designed with Shibuya’s renowned mechanical accuracy and durability, the CP Pro G2 combines ultra-fine micro adjustments, a lightweight carbon extension system, and innovative anti-play technologies to deliver exceptional performance for serious archers.

A major improvement in the CP Pro G2 series is the refined micro-adjustment system, offering the smallest click increment ever produced by Shibuya. Both elevation and windage adjustments move 0.04 mm (1/640 inch) per click, compared with the previous 0.05 mm (about 1/508 inch) increment. This enhanced precision allows archers to perform extremely fine calibration adjustments, enabling consistent shot placement at varying distances and helping competitive shooters achieve micron-level accuracy during tournaments.

The sight also integrates the highly respected ZPE System (Zero Play Elimination). Originally introduced in the CP PRO and CPX III series, this system removes internal backlash within the adjustment mechanism. Even when reversing the adjustment direction, each click remains firm and responsive, ensuring that every movement translates directly into reliable sight calibration. The result is a stable and predictable tuning experience that professional archers can trust under competitive conditions.

Constructed from 6000-series aluminum alloy, the sight frame offers excellent rigidity while maintaining a lightweight structure. The extension bar is made from carbon fiber, reducing overall weight and minimizing vibration transfer during the shot cycle. The longer extension length of 233 mm (9 inches) allows increased aperture distance and improved sight picture clarity for archers who prefer extended scope positioning.

Shibuya’s Tria-Lock system is another key innovation incorporated into the CP Pro G2. This design encloses the scope rod holder from three sides, holding it perfectly aligned while eliminating any mechanical play. Additionally, the system positions the scope rod approximately 12.7 mm (0.5 inch) closer to the elevation bar than conventional sights, reducing leverage forces on the windage unit and significantly increasing long-term durability.

The X-Lock System further enhances mechanical stability by creating a re-adjustable, zero-tolerance connection between the windage unit and the sight frame. Durable polyacetal resin guide spacers surround the elevation rail and can be adjusted using a set screw to maintain smooth movement and eliminate wear over time.

For accurate distance reference, the sight includes recessed metal sight scale plates on both sides of the elevation bar. A blank plate and reference scale are supplied, and optional double-sided plates provide up to 16 scale configurations. Printed sight tapes can be applied directly to the blank plate, making it easy to customize distance markings for individual setups.

The redesigned flat shelf indicator pins sit closer to the sight tape surface while maintaining clearance for layered tapes. Both pins lock securely with side cap screws to prevent accidental movement during adjustment.
