The Shibuya VARIS Adjustable V-Bar System is engineered for archers who demand uncompromising precision, long-term stability, and dependable performance in advanced stabilizer setups. Designed with premium machining and innovative mechanical features, the VARIS system delivers exceptional control for both competition and intensive training. One of its standout innovations is the anti-loosening design using opposing thread directions. While most V-bar systems rely on bolts that tighten in the same direction on both sides, the VARIS system adopts a smarter configuration: the right bolt tightens clockwise, and the left bolt tightens counterclockwise. This orientation ensures that each bolt naturally tightens in the direction of downward force on the side rods, dramatically reducing accidental loosening during shooting or movement.

Another major advancement is the new Click-Lock QD Connect system (patent pending). By redesigning the quick-detach connector with a positive-click retention mechanism, Shibuya has significantly increased resistance to unintended detachment. The triangular-based QD pin geometry creates greater lock-engagement contact, enhancing durability and reducing wear. Combined with the dovetail alignment structure, side rod positioning becomes more consistent and highly repeatable, improving overall stabilizer accuracy.

The VARIS system is fully compatible with the PRIMUS Aluminum V-Bar Bolt, giving competitive archers access to a wider range of weight configurations. The PRIMUS V-bar bolt is crafted from an ultra-high-strength alloy that exceeds the performance of A7075 aluminum. Precision CNC machining ensures a refined, beautifully cut shape. With roughly one-third the density of stainless steel bolts, the PRIMUS bolt contributes to a lightweight yet extremely durable stabilization system.

Shibuya’s continued innovation extends to the PRIMUS V-Bar Mount, the evolutionary successor to the lightweight CARUNO V-Bar. The redesigned body features a wider profile, offering improved stability and reduced flex during anchoring. Despite the increased robustness, the mount remains extraordinarily lightweight — averaging just 47 g (1.66 oz) at 40° including the bolt and body. This minimized weight reduces fatigue during long sessions and provides archers with greater freedom in stabilizer selection and tuning.

With a total system weight of 192 g (6.77 oz) with bolt and 153 g (5.40 oz) without bolt, the VARIS V-Bar System offers a refined balance between strength and maneuverability. The system is compatible with 5/16-24 threaded stabilizers and includes a V-bar bolt and 6 mm (0.24 in) hex wrench.
